MATERIALS SCIENCE MEETS PHOTOGRAPHY, exhibition by Materials Platform

08.12.2017 - 26.01.2018
Otaniemi Campus

This photography exhibition invites Dipoli visitors to explore a fascinating world of materials science through the lens of photography. ‘Materials Science meets Photography’ is the result of a photography workshop series organized by Aalto Materials Platform in collaboration with photography trainer Tiina Puputti.

The main goal is to provide basic and practical knowledge of how to photograph good quality images for scientific use, whether in an online publication, a print media, a presentation or a poster. This helps scientists to explore ways to communicate their research visually and narratively.

We are hoping you will enjoy the photographs and stories we've prepared for you!
